I personally think our team did a fantastic job with this and I am looking forward to seeing people play and receiving feedback. We really wanted to create the best multiplayer experience we possibly could and tried to recreate medieval battlefields in a multiplayer game setting, paying attention to realism and gameplay depth. Today's video included the following statement from the Dev team at TaleWorlds, which reads: Unfortunately, even after waiting an eternity for the game’s release, no co-op was ever implemented. Given the game’s success and awesome singleplayer, people have been bugging TaleWorlds to implement a co-op feature in the next game Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord so that they can play singleplayer with their friends. The directional shield blocking and shield bash, as well as the attack chaining, revitalize the whole sword & board gameplay – and all this comes with improved animations and a new combat engine that will make players live the most intense battles they have ever experienced in a video game. Many players loved the successful game Mount and Blade: Warband. Bannerlord builds on the gameplay of the previous instalments of the franchise while retaining its intuitive, direction-based combat. Players will also have to show their own prowess in combat with the key combat updates featured in Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord.
